Trainee

It refers to anyone who wants to assist and make installations. They can do it under the supervision of a journeyman and master.

• You will deliver $200 as a fee and $21 for a criminal assessment.

You do not become a plumber without assuming courses or training programs. During these programs, you learn how to work with stormwater, fixture installation, underground water supply, sewer drainage, and residential and service.

Licensing Exam Details

As you have already known, to be certified as a Master’s or Journeyman in this state, you have to take an exam. Prov testing services are responsible for administrating it.

In fact, you have to pay $65 for each examination.

In the Journeyman case, you have 80 questions and three hours to finish it. What refers to Master, there are 100 questions and also three hours for finishing it.

The tests cover general knowledge and regulations, traps and interceptors, roof drainage, specialty venting, waste, and sanitary venting.

Maine Plumbing License Renewal

You can renew your permit online. The prices vary based on the variety. For example, it is $200-$221 for Journeyman and criminal background assessment is $21. For a Trainee, Plumber renewal is $100-$121. However, the Journeyman-in-training is one-time used and is not able to be renewed. You have to renew it 60 days prior to the expiration date.
